YoYo Clicker App on iPhone

Came across this YoYo Clicker app for yoyo competition, developed by Hong Kong yoyo player Chen Ka Kit Bitter, better known as Bi by his peers.

So this is how it works, positive clicks on the left, negative on the right, so click away!

When you're done, just tap finish, it'll do the math for you.

Cancel to go back to the clicking screen, or Save to save the result, you can save multiple results.

I didn't fill in names, so what you see here is the final score,  the positive and the negative scores.

so go back to the clicking screen, you can reset the scores by tapping Clear.

Voila.
I don't know how handy it'll be, I'm not a clicker person, but it's a pretty nice app to have for yoyo players, no?

YoyoAcq Presents: Chua Wei Xuan Montage

Wei Xuan have appeared in many of the videos I produced, but he's been busy for a while and I want to make a montage video of him to let people see his tricks from the past to now. Even the older combos are wicked in my opinion.

JazzYo new yoyos in the making

What you see here is a JazzYo concept and a JazzYo X YoCATS Regulus that Jazz sent me long ago, these aren't the new yoyos, but version 2 of these yoyos are expected to release int he next two month if everything goes right. So yea, Concept 2, or maybe still using the name Concept, but improved, and the Regulus 2, will is in the making. And also a Titanium yoyo too if plans go accordingly.

Now the Concept have issue on the pads area, stock pads aren't useful at all, you need to experiment different types of pads, I personally use apply silicone but it falls out easily, so I hope this one is being rectified. The Regulus stock response wasn't really grippy enough too, but it wasn't as much a problem compared to the Concept because it doesn't have that pads falling out issue, so I wonder what could be different in this version, probably a total make-over for this.

here's the respective promo videos I did as SYBlogJayson.

QiXia Yo Dance

Browsing forums and saw this, Yo Dance, not sure if it's the brand name or the yoyo name, but it sure looks like a Positron to me.

*update
So I got a message through facebook from Daniel Capilla Tovar, he told me told me that it's call the Qi Xia metal Yo Dance, and I know the brand Qi Xia, so title amended, this is Yo Dance from QiXia, I've seen a couple yoyo from QiXia that's actually an exact or slight modified copy of other yoyos, but plays well for it's price range. here's a video of Daniel Capilla Tovar with it.

Adegleyoyos presents: 2012 TYYC CLIP

Freestyles at Adegle channel!

Opinion: YONITY Kung

This was suppose to be posted a while back, but due to high school... I couldn't find the time to. Not just this, also some other yoyos, and I once mentioned that these will be posted on SingaporeYoing.com but after I got messages from players not knowing I've stop blogging there and that Alex have decided to close that blog, I figured I should really stop posting there to avoid confusion, I'll post the write-ups of the older remaining samples here.

so... some photos before I start rambling. Jex sent me two Kungs, separately though, I'll post photos of the first one first.

The YONITY Kung comes installed with one shim, and came along with two more of different thickness for your liking, and also a spare pad. Axle is a pretty much traditional one instead of the one used in their 1A yoyo range, and the axle can go right through the hub, so when taken apart and screwing back, you need to cover the hole of the hub area.

I can honestly say I really like how this yoyo look, it's nice, in my opinion of course.
However I dig the black hub with white wing one more, but that's Minus' edition which means it's limited, that probably explains why I didn't get that color way.

So, playing wise, I like it, I like how it feels in the palm, and I like the bounce, but the spin just ain't right, but that's because it was stock, and turns out this piece that he sent was the first batch with slight defect, the defect being the wing flying out after a few hard bounce. So it turns out like this...

But this can be solved. The wing's are made of delrin material, so put it in boiling water for about 30 seconds, let it expand a bit, and push it back to the hub and voila. you're done. But this goes on for a few times, so I've got to talk to Jex about it. So he told me that that was the first batch, they all have the same color and engraving so he sent the wrong one without knowing. But good thing he offered to send another one which is the final product. so here goes...

Visually, it's just a different color, but playing wise, it's so much better because this was actually his own, bearing broken in, pad broken in, everything's just nice. I personally like how this plays, I can't do horizontal, like always, and I play casual off string, but this one, unlike the first piece that was sent to me, never have the problem of the wing coming off. Very durable, high toss, hard bounce, string whips are nice. Bare in mind, the stock Kung will be very responsive because of the pad, you've got to break it in. So maybe my opinion wasn't enough, so I got a few local players to try it out, and some like it, some don't, Sean Hung was like okay, JunJie seems to kind of like it, and Aik Hwee seems to enjoy it.
In my opinion, you need to break it in before it starts to get really nice to play, but that's just me.

here are videos of them trying it out so you can see how it plays.

With all this said, anyone who have tried the YONITY Kung, do comment and leave your opinion on the Kung for the benefit of those who might be thinking of getting.

As of now, the YONITY Kung is going at about 102USD at 28Spin, and 129.99USD at REWIND.

YONITY Jiu

The YONITY Jiu, or 九, which means the number "9", when read, it sounds like "long" as in duration, in mandarin. This yoyo is made for long sleeper, aluminum with brass weight ring, I think only one is for sale, if you want it, go to the facebook page now!

YONITY X Series

YONITY's new line of yoyos, the X Series!
I see what seems to be delrin yoyos with aluminum weight rings embedded, and the new metal yoyo, Jian. I sure hope I'm still eligible for this samples.

Now the thing with Yonity is the special axle system they have, I like the Jei alot, it's a yoyo I constantly play with, I have to say in terms of playing and competing, and spinning, it's stable, stable in that sense it doesn't tilt easily. But, spin check wise, finger test and all, it still have that very very slight vibe that most yoyos have, it would be really nice if that could be rectified.

YoyoAcq presents: Aik Hwee trying out Yonity Kung

Not exactly a promo video, Junjie tried out the Yonity Kung, so did Sean, it's only normal I got Aik Hwee to try it. So here goes!
