Pre-order was opened to China, and ending tonight at 12am, China Time Zone (UTC+08:00)
So players outside of China, your only chance of pre-ordering one is getting in touch with someone from China.
Shipments to stores should start after the 10th May. No idea when it's going to go on sale though, I got words that YoYoExpert is going to be one of the store carrying these, so yea.
Information you might want to know is, these are believed to be relatively affordable, and there's only 200 pieces produced for this batch, and then there's going to be refinement to the next, so collectors, you might want to camp on this, because you know the next batch will never be the same.
And no information on when the next batch will be ready.

When Yoyorecreation started, our mission was - and continues to be - to provide high end made in Japan yo-yos for the world to use.
However since travelling the world through yo-yoing, and meeting the many communities which make up the yo-yo scene, it became increasingly clear that super-high-end yo-yos were simply out of reach for many players.
Seeing this, we strongly felt the desire to develop a new price-band of products. After much painstaking work, we are proud to announce the start of a second brand - Rebellion - which will co-exist along side Yoyorecreation.
By applying our know-how from years of making yo-yos in Japan, and sourcing overseas factories, we have been able to develop some high quality products with an emphasis on affordability.
At Japan Nationals Rebellion will be releasing 3 (yes 3!), new models!
ACRO

Despite its wide shape, the Acro is a very stable yo-yo. It really shines through when performing tricks such as hops which are aided by its width.
This first run will be available in red and black.
Butcher

The unique rim shape of the Butcher provides excellent weight distribution and superb performance. This model is aimed at players who prefer an organic feel, and have a balanced play-style which demands all-round performance.
The first run will be available in matte green and matte black.
Golyat

The Golyat has an over-sized shape, machined out of polyacetal resin. The resin has a naturally smooth texture, and the yo-yo plays exceptionally nimbly.
The first fun will be available in blue and black.

West Coast Classic 2015 Freestyes (Last WCC)
This marks the end of West Coast Classic.

Now that there's no more regional contest in Singapore, Spinworkx will focus more on Showcase which local player can compete for free. It's being held more frequently too as compared to the regionals. In regards to seeding, past year champions of SYYC are seeded to current year.

Fin Hop 3in1 Yoyo Updates* Offstring May Not Withstand Abuse
I posted an unboxing video of the Fin Hop 3in1 Yoyo in November 2014, but never did talk much about it. Recently I find some time to fiddle with it, tried the offstring, and here's some discovery.
Now I thought you guys might want to know this, I've only play with it for a few minutes, I deliberately drop it on the floor to test the bounce, just a few times. Bounce is good, however, there's signs of damage on the wings as soon as I dropped them. Check out the pictures. From the colored part you can see the white lines formed by the drop.
Now the other 2 shells are fine, since I only play 1A with them. The 4A is something you guys have to take note before buying.

Opinion: Tait Design Co. Sling-Slang Yoyo
So Matthew Tait was nice to send me a Sling-Slang yoyo to try out!
I first came across this in the beginning of December last year in tumblr when I randomly search yoyo, and it instantly caught my attention. I've seen a couple of yoyos being produced by non-yoyo maker, and they all didn't really make me wow, but that's just me. When I first saw this, it was on WeAndTheColor's tumblr page, and I immediately feel I have to go search more about it, and I eventually went to Tait Design Co.'s website. That's where I sent an email to Matt and ask more about the product and stuff. And there, I was offered one to try out! And man I love it. It's the first yoyo made by non-yoyo maker that caught my attention instantly, and it look so nice, in my opinion, and looking at the grooved aluminum axle, I was expecting it to play really well~ And I really, really like the packaging. Unboxing video and more pictures before I move on!
So, I got it, I was excited, I open it, assembled it, put on a kitty string, and gave it a throw, it felt pretty nice, but I MUST say that, it's Matt's first attempt at making a yoyo, doing a long sleeper isn't an issue, I was able to hit a Trapeze, sometimes a Double or Nothing, I could do Loops with it, Hops and even Shoot the Moon. But anything else fails, I could hardly do Split the Atom although I manage to hit it once. The moment the layer of string goes into the string gap, it kills the spin. However, Matt's gonna get that fixed, either in the next run, or possibly an all new product!
Remember, this is never mean to be a competition yoyo, it's for fun, designed by a designer.
It's still playable nonetheless.
I am still playing mine even though I could barely do many tricks with it.
Maybe some of you who mod out there can mod it the way you want it to be?
I don't know for sure.
